1. You are the Product/Show

Don't forget. Everyone in the stands at your game or watching the game on their favorite device. Is tuning in to watch the athletes.

The athletes are the show. The athletes are what makes the event special.

Don't be afraid to utilize your influence to create something entrepreneurially.

Pro Tip: Smart athletes are killing it running their own camps, creating their own merch, and developing their own businesses. NIL allows athletes to do business outside of the schools as well.

2. Building for the Future 

Taking an ownership approach to your NIL opportunities, can allow an athlete to create something that sustains them past their sports career.

Athletes have utilized their NIL money to build community centers, fund laundromat business, purchase real estate, and much more.

This is the best time to be a student-athlete.

You don't have to wait for a brand or a company to choose you!

Very few experience the access that athletes do. So why not take advantage of it?

Be smart and strategic.

If you are treating your sports endeavors like a business, why not write-off the expenses like a business as well.

Families that travel from coast to coast for camps, trainers, and competition. Are "investing" in their child's athletic development with the hopes for future financial compensation in most cases.

Treating your sports career link a business and forming and LLC or S-Corp is a very wise decision for maximizing savings and the cost of being a student-athlete.
